Being a lazy couch potato and all, I never really bothered to make an account in deviantART. I mean, you could just look at all the artwork, leave, and not have to worry about posting a new journal entry, uploading a new deviation, et cetera et cetera, you know. Nevertheless, I realized with much bitterness later, that in order to view the "mature content" here, I would have to register and verify my age.

And lo-and-behold, I'm here, a new deviant.

Yes, the curious [is what I say, but it really translates to perverted] me wouldn't stop its incessant nagging until I did. Pathetic, no?


But no matter the reason, the point is, I'm here. And new.

I'll be honest here. Truthfully, it's kind of scary. Staring into my empty gallery makes me feel obliged to just post something - anything. And I want to get rid of the feeling, but then I stumble on the next obstacle usually referred to as "low self-esteem." Let's be realistic. Not everyone is best friends with the mouse, and I'm afraid I don't fit into that particular category either. I know what some of you are thinking. Get a tablet! Yes, well, that doesn't work out so well if you barely have a dollar in your wallet. And I'm not the best artist out there, and knowing that, I can't help but be reluctant.

So I considered maybe scanning a couple doodles from here and there and upload them. Then I shrunk further upon realizing that doing so would probably make said doodles seem rather careless and yak yak yak.

I really don't know where I should start.


Okay, that was my rather unnecessarily elongated version of my internal turmoil.

Moving on.



Since I'm new and all, I'll end this post with a simple introduction of myself.

I happen to be a specimen of the female species who appreciates fine literature and art. My favourite food as of now is sushi, and oh, I like slash. Yes, yaoi fangirling goodness. Ahh.
